 1966 Chevy Nova II
It’s a classic! It’s also now a better looking classic! At first glance, I though this car was a slight orange color. I was wrong. It was actually red, and super glossy red at that!When I got the call from this client, he tells me to get it looking good for a photo shoot! Well, I instantly knew it was going to be a long two days on this one car! After finding a solid process I set out to refine the finish as best as possible! Four steps were needed to bring this car back to a satisfactory 95% perfected state! The color change was dramatic in person! Medium oxidation, TONS of scratches and lots of swirl marks blanketed the car, creating the dull finish. My goal was to remove as many as possible and bring back the gloss as best I could in the two days I only had on the car! Results speak for themselves, I accomplished my goal! Total time invested in the car: 17 hours
