 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback
The owner of this car contacted Envious Detailing to come out and take a look at the car about a year prior to the actual detail day! In that time, I don’t think any work was put into the paint besides maybe the occasional wash! At first glance, you can see this cars’ paint is rather dull and dead looking, almost non-repairable! Oxidation, scratches, swirl marks riddled the car making the paint look like there is no gloss at all. Well it was my job to bring back that luster and gloss from the paint and get the car looking good again! After finding the right combination of products and pads, I began working on a smooth 4 step process that would results in much more acceptable appearance standards, about 95% perfected paint! I didn’t want to go too aggressive as to remove too much paint, yet still wanted to clear up any paint imperfections that were present! Total time invested in this car: 11 hours
